My name is Julie and I've had the opportunity and privilege to have been working with Helen Battisti almost three years now. In all that time, not once has she given up on me. Although, over that time I've given her plenty of cause to give up. She never has. She's hung right in their with me and now the results of her dedication are paying off.
The thing that helped alot is writing down what I eat. Which I never did before seeing Helen. It's proved to be an invaluable tool for seeing patterns of eating and for grocery shopping. What sticks with me the most is that Helen really believes in me and that means a lot. For a long time, I was just standing still, not getting anywhere, and Helen would just wait patiently until I got going again. Now that I am losing weight on a steady basis and on a solid food plan, we've cut down on our session time together.
It must be noted that Helen saw me for weekly sessions for two years without any real tangible weight loss produced. Mostly due to my own stubborness and still she did not give up. I've lost 70 lbs. and feel wonderful. It's the start of a brand new life for me and it never would have been possible if Helen hadn't been willing to show me the way.
